In an effort to streamline and simplify the process of signing up for holiday party volunteers, I thought I would try a web version this year! You can sign up to volunteer from the comfort of your home or workplace where you have your personal calendar available. Please use the form below to sign up!

Next Tuesday we will be back to school and I know many of you like to snap the annual B2S photo on the first day! I discovered an awesome, editable powerpoint from fellow teacher Cara Carroll at The First Grade Parade that you can edit with your child's name, grade, teacher, and date. The best part…it's FREE!!! Just click on the button below to be redirected to The First Grade Parade where you can download and edit this printable for your little 2nd grade sweetie!
It's official! Class lists are posted outside the elementary building! I can't wait to meet all of you and I am looking forward to seeing you next Wednesday, August 27th for Open House. Open House will be from 5:00-6:30pm. See you then and enjoy these last few weeks of summer!
Remind 101 is a great way to stay connected to what is happening in our classroom! When you sign up for Remind 101 using the button below, you will be able to receive text or e-mail reminders from me about upcoming events in our classroom. I typically send home reminders about upcoming tests or other special events at school. The great thing about Remind 101 is that it protects everyone's privacy. You are not able to see my number or respond to text messages and I am not able to see your cell phone number or e-mail address. When you sign up, please use your first and last name so that I can monitor who is a part of our group. If you receive a text and have a question, please contact me through e-mail and I will respond ASAP! Class lists for the 2014-2015 school year have not been released yet, but when/if you find out that your child will be in my class for the upcoming year, please sign up using the button below. Simply click on the button to get started!
Summer greetings! I wanted to share this awesome iTunes app for mastering math facts with all of my upcoming second grade students and parents. We will be using this app this fall to help us master our math facts through +20. If you would like to purchase the app, I will include a link below. Simply click on the button and you will be directed to iTunes. The Smart Cookie Math app is $1.99 and students can use it on an iPad or phone!
