The Doctors are in the House!
Grammar on it's own is not always the most thrilling of subjects, so we dressed up as doctors and prepared to do some pronoun surgery! Each table was given a container full of blood (Hot Tamales) and pieces of paper with words on them. The kids had to do surgery and remove the pieces of paper with a scalpel (a clothespin). Once they removed the piece of paper, they had to read the word on the paper and sort it into the pronoun column, the reflexive pronoun column, or the neither column. Below are some pictures of the doctors conducting their intense surgeries and learning all about pronouns!
