HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING IN MRS. BRUNT'S CLASS!
Our story for this week is Goose's Story. We will be reviewing cause and effect and learning all about helping verbs and quotation marks. We'll also begin working on a personal narrative writing activity where we think about or imagine a time that there was a mouse in our house! Eek!
We've got a great new literacy opportunity for first and second grade students that will begin in the next couple weeks. Hopefully you received the pink half-sheet that came home attached to your child's homework packet. Teachers are requesting that each child bring in a one inch binder with a clear pocket on the front for a cover. Keep your eye on your child's mail for more information about this exciting opportunity!
