The day before spring break, students had the opportunity to attend Camp-Read-A-Lot at Whiteford Elementary! Our awesome Language Arts Committee did a great job of planning a full day of learning and fun for our entire school! Eating hot dogs and s'mores! We played tug of war and had sack races! Mrs. Bixler, retired Whiteford science teacher, brought in some snakes and taught us all about snakes that are indigenous to our area! We were able to hold the snakes and even wrap them around our necks. Very cool! Mrs. Pirrone and Mrs. Masserant read to us under the stars! Mrs. Simmons led us in some campfire songs!
