We just wrapped up a unit on graphing where we learned all about bar graphs, pictographs, and line plots. Students learned how to conduct a survey, collect data, and represent data on a graph. Below are a few pictures of students creating pictographs with Fruit Loops and interpreting their data! We recently had the opportunity to join forces with Mrs. Mitchey's and Mrs. Delmotte's 7th grade class for our annual March Madness Book Tournament. Every Thursday morning these 7th grade students would join us in our classroom and read us several books. After they left, we would sign in to Schoology and vote for our favorites. When we got down to the final two books the 7th grade students prepared a special reading of Not a Narwhal and Finding Winnie. Below are a few pictures of the 7th grade students reading to our class and their final presentations. We loved collaborating with our friends from across the parking lot! This is just one of the many things that makes Whiteford so special! P.S. Our winner this year was Finding Winnie!
