Students had so much fun researching all different types of penguins on the iPads this week! Did you know there are 17 different types of penguins? Did you know that all penguins live South of the Equator? Our class paired up and we were able to research 13 of them! We spent several hours researching our assigned penguins, taking notes, and drawing pictures and diagrams. Then, we were able to write some fantastic informational penguin booklets. I think we have some future authors and illustrators in our classroom! It was such a pleasure to watch the kids work together to research. They kept telling me over and over how much fun they were having!
