Here are a few pictures from our Shark Week shenanigans! I think it's safe to say that everyone had a shark-tastic week filled with lots of learning about sharks! These first pics are from a division game we played in class called "Feed the Shark." We also participated in a "Save the Seal" STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) project where our mission was to elevate the seal in order to protect him from the hungry shark. The kids were given a piece of foil, 10 pipe cleaners, 2 rubber bands, a paper cup, 2 index cards, a seal, and a Great White Shark. Everyone worked very well together...I heard a lot of encouragement and teamwork as I walked around the room observing! Finally, here are a few pics from a division activity we did on Monday. We learned how to divide using arrays and we used Starburst to make our arrays! Also, there's a few goofy pics included just for fun...because school should be fun!
