We had a very busy day today that was jam-packed with learning and fun. This morning began with a visit to the barn where we had the opportunity to see two ewes and their new babies! We are so lucky to be a part of an agricultural school district where students are able to apply their learning firsthand! The kids were so excited and I think they would have stayed outside all day if I had let them. We couldn't get enough of those precious babies! After our sheep adventure, we returned to the classroom to apply some of our newly learned geometry skills. We made some yummy 2D and 3D shapes using marshmallows and toothpicks. Some of us took our creations home in Ziploc baggies, while others ate their shape creations.
