IT'S A BIRD! IT'S A PLANE! IT'S SECOND GRADE!
HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING IN MRS. BRUNT'S CLASS!
Our story for this week will be African-American Inventors. This is a non-fiction story all about different African-American inventors. We will have the opportunity to learn about their inventions and compare and contrast their lives and their ideas. We will also continue to learn about adverbs. During our math time, we will be learning all about fractions! This is a challenging concept, but the kids are putting forth a lot of effort and are starting to get the idea. One thing that the kids have learned this year is that when things are hard, we don't give up. We can do hard things!
