IT'S A BIRD! IT'S A PLANE! IT'S 2ND GRADE!
HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING IN MRS. BRUNT'S ROOM!
I've got a great group of parent volunteers who are putting together some fun science activities for our Halloween party on Thursday afternoon. Any parents are welcome to join us. Parent volunteers will be setting up during our lunch time between 11:30am-12:15pm. We will get the kids dressed in their costumes when they return from recess and will begin our activities. We will line up for the Halloween parade at 2:00pm. When we return to the room, we will clean up and end the day with a short Halloween movie. It's going to be a very fun afternoon for the kids!
We will be having a spelling test this week, but no reading test. Homework will be due on Thursday, since there is no school for students on Friday due to a county-wide inservice for teachers.
