Here's What's Happening in Second GRade!
Our story for this week is Snow Day by Lester Laminack. We will be learning all about summarizing a story and the difference between singular and plural nouns. We will also read Brave Irene by William Steig. Our plan is to compare and contrast the two stories throughout the week. During writer's workshop, we will begin writing the steps that we took to create our box projects. Just a reminder that boxes are due on Wednesday, January 11th. Students will not be able to participate in the writing process if they have not completed the creation stage of the project.
