IT'S A BIRD! IT'S A PLANE! IT'S SECOND GRADE!
HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING IN MRS. BRUNT'S CLASS!
Our last story of the year will be Babu's Song. We will be reviewing character and setting and synonyms and antonyms. We will also be wrapping up our last math unit of the year as we continue to learn about fractions and review money by making equivalent amounts and estimating costs.
Just a reminder to slather your kiddos up with sunscreen on Thursday & Friday before they leave the house. We will be outside for both of those days for Safety Day & Track and Field Day and we don't want any painful sunburns! Also, we've had several students bring in ticks from the playground, so it wouldn't hurt to give a quick tick check every night when your child comes home from school. The little buggers like to hide near the hairline, on the scalp, or near the ears. Ewww!!!
